about

"Phantasma Trio Vol. 1" is the debut album from PHANTASMA TRIO (Chris Coyle, Ron Stabinsky, Doug Hirlinger). Coyle's compositions for piano trio are brought to life with explorative improvisation, subtle orchestrations, tasty electronics, and sensitive interplay.

A poem of sorts:
"Thinking about life is like looking at reflections of fog. It's lonely. There is nothing like art in person. But one thing you could try, you could hold up a prism. I (we, this moment) feel beautifully out of place...ecstatic, phantasmic, and glacial erratic."
